Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Shipply is a product of iShip Technologies Inc. ("Shipply", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA). By using our website or services you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information you provide, such as your name, business name, email address, and phone number.

Shipping information needed to provide the service, including sender and recipient details, addresses, package details, carrier accounts, and tracking data.

Communications you send us, including waitlist and contact requests.

Technical data collected automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, and usage of our website.

How we use your information

To provide, operate, and improve our shipping software and related services.

To generate quotes, labels, tracking, and analytics, and to recover refunds where you use those features.

To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates.

To build de-identified, aggregated benchmarking and carrier-performance datasets that improve the recommendations we provide — with business names and personal information removed, as described in the "Your shipping data" section of our Terms.

We may use artificial-intelligence tools to optimise the customer experience, your shipping solutions, and your pricing — for example to read shipping documents, messages, and invoices so that we can act on them faster and more accurately.

To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.

Sharing your information

We share information with shipping carriers and logistics partners strictly as needed to quote, ship, track, or recover refunds on your shipments.

We use trusted third-party service providers (such as hosting, payment, and email providers) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

Where we use AI tools, we may share limited data with the AI company that provides them (currently Anthropic), under terms that prohibit them from using your data to train their models. This provider may process data outside Québec and Canada. We will name the providers in use on request, and this page is updated when they change.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how our site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and afterwards only as required for legal, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.

Invoice files you upload to the Analyzer are deleted 30 days after upload. The shipping records we read from them — carrier, service, weight, lane, date, and amount paid — are retained as described in the "Your shipping data" section of our Terms.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent for certain uses. Contact us to make a request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
